ABOUT US

"If I can help others, it seems like the right thing to do."

Our Mission:
Seeing the high difference in difficulty between lectures, assignments, midterms and examinations, Stack Undarflow is established as a non-profit platform, striving to provide an alternative learning method that mainly focuses on assignments and test-based questions. We aim to provide short but comprehensive materials of courses that help students of minimal background achieve a high grade in minimum amount of time. Starting 2023 Fall, we will also host more non-academic functions to enhance the friendship among Engineering students. We hope that our students can have well academic performances but also a fulfilling University life.

OUR FOUNDER - UNDAR

Undar is a self-motivated learner and a passionate teacher in the fields of Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science. In 2021, he began his studies of Engineering in HKU, started his role as a private tutor and became a Mathematics tutor in Royal Learning Group Limited the next year. When he started Year 2, he had a CGPA of 4.06, declared his major as Computer Science and became an official tutor in HKU, teaching Computer Programming I & II. He also got an opportunity to reach out to a large amount of HKU newcomers studying Engineering, and developed a self-learning platform, which was later rebranded as “Stack Undarflow” in September 2022. In 2023 Spring, he was also the Internal Vice Chairperson of the Computer Science Association and the class representative of Computer Science students of his year, which aided him to pass on student’s opinion to the faculty. Over the years, Undar has developed the passion of teaching and accumulated 2 years of one-to-one and one-to-group teaching experience with students of primary school, secondary school and University background.

Seeing how he was able to help large amount of students surpass their academic difficulties, Undar aims to expand his teaching scope by finishing the learning materials of 10 courses before he graduates in 2025. After his graduation, he hopes to continue his Master studies in the University of Cambridge with the pursuit of becoming a future professor.
